History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.
