History: Jacoba hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Theodoric embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theodoric grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
