Personality: Joan is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Joan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
