History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
