Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Sellsword business.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Katherine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
