History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Mary has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Born in the east to a Priest, Norman learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. He tends to his Priest job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
