Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Ella reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
