History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Gerard was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Margery hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Servant. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Diggory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
