History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Egelina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: Everard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
