Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Kyle was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Jane hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and expand her business

Description: A middle-aged man, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, and is pretty ugly. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Heward learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
