History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born to a Barber, her father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Cecily was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Cecily's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her childhood dream was to be a Guard, but she was a colossal failure. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has decided she is irredeemable
