Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears long strands of opal and short grey dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He has a very tight haircut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hubert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: The light-skinned woman stands 5'2" and wears a fancy tan dress. Her moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is a Butcher first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: She was born in a small plains village. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: To be a Scribe again.

Description: She wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. She carries with her a set of daggers on her belt, each one with a emerald on the hilt. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. She wears an eyepatch.

Margery enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Margery was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
