History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her childhood dream was to be a Priest, but she was a colossal failure. During her travels, Herleva and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Herleva discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Herleva fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
