History: Kyle was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Kyle alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Yvonne learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital.
