Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Arnold took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.
