History: Jane was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Jacoba was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he's in love

Personality: She is a Bookbinder first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Williamina is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
