His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull tan iron scale mail. His skin is also unnaturally pale. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Gerard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by lycanthropy.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her bastard sword with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her hair is brown and very short. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Avelina was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Avelina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to prove her worth to the world
