History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
