History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adam's homeland. Adam decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Egelina was born with her mother's beautiful face. When Egelina reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
