She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Joan was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Dilettante. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
