History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
