History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Raymond grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Raymond. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but she was a colossal failure. She has achieved small success as a Spice Merchant.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'10" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a tan costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
