History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. During his travels, Hugh and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hugh discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hugh fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
