To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Charles. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Eva's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She uses divination through singing.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
