History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by drow. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Melissa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: Aline was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student she started as a Unemployed, but she got bored and became a Herbalist. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Geva lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
