Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Roger was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Cecily is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. When Cecily reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Barrister like his mother before him.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
