Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Norman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears long strands of opal and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Miller who has hired him part-time. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Miller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Description: This tall, slender man wears a red coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the right. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Dean enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
