She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Maynild isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
