Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a Banker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for her, and Herleva does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Herleva lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by her family.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with yellow colored cloaks and clothing. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Raymond was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

His hair is long and blonde with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Shoemaker job and began his own company from there.
