Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Margery was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.
