History: Margery lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A true patriot, William would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. After a long history of fighting, William and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of gnolls
