History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Cory took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up nunchaku and armor he uses now. He now owns his own business.

History: Sybil was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.
