He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: The child of a Glassblower, who enjoyed hunting, Diggory was taken on many hunting expeditions. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She tends to her Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and someone believes her a fraud
