Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student she started as a Carpenter, but she got bored and became a Ruler. During her travels, Matilda and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Matilda discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Matilda fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the left. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
