History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Brewer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
