History: Gerard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Joan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
