Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Emmeline hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emmeline grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emmeline. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and to unite with his brother
