Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. After coming to the age of reason, Bernard took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Dilettante; and to be a dilettante again

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and expand her business
