History: Vaina was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Dilettante arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Guy never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: Tordrid was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and expand her business

He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
