History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nyx grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Shag has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emeny grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emeny. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She bought a longbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Trym is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trym hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and regain custody of his daughter

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theriatis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
