History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Kava was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears baggy black pantaloons and a violet scarf. She wears a small hat to hide her balding. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. Vapula is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bookbinder, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. She is dressed in a clean violet cloak covering her clean studded leather, marred by beers. Her hair is long and black with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small violet clips. Her brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Balifra wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Balifra was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Arannis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ploughman.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
