Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Balam will drive conversation. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Balam reached his early adolescence his Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a banker and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is fixated on the number 8. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. Being a Body Guard kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

History: Gifted from a young age, Murgen studied abroad. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. River fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
