History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Birel was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
