History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alston grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alston. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

After months of barely getting by, Leaf managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When Igden reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Hunter responsibilities is difficult; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
