She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east to a Glassblower, Ahinar learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Ahinar took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland.
