Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ekk fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Valanthe learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
