History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

History: Umpen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure.
