History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Miner profession.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His childhood dream was to be a Miner, but he was a colossal failure. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: He usually wears his brown robe and has his sickle always slung over his shoulder. He carries a battered bow and tarnished sickle as well. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thradal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Torgga was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
