Description: This late middle aged woman wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress) and is in decent physical shape. Her gray fur is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Flame was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Flame was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Blacksmith. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dilettante they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Blacksmith, and she later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Xanaphia hails from a village terrorized by giants. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting giants, the young Xanaphia began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Armorer born in the past three hundred years. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.
History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Rivaan took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Chaedi took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up kukri and armor she uses now. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
