He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Reynard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Dadalan hails from a village terrorized by drow. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Gifted from a young age, Sarai studied abroad. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Sarai's homeland. Sarai decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She got into the Cook business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She has all her life been fascinated with singing.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is content

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and he wants revenge against drow

History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
